I believe this is standard tuning tuned a half step lower...
As far as strings, no need to get very heavy gauge.. You can but I don't think it's necessary since the tuning is not that low... -------------------- www.youtube.com/Wallimann

I agree with David. Regular set of strings (for example 10-46) will do just fine, since it's not low tuning.

As it's fairly technical I would say standard 10s is the right choice for flat tuning
