Pop rock collab is done!
Thank you very much for participating! You guys did a very good job! Here is the track http://soundcloud.com/alex-feather-akimov/pop-rock-collab-1 The first solo is played by Marcost You did a great job! Nice timing and a lot of phrases were amazing! What it was missing is development using higher octaves and more dynamically build phrases will fix it right away! Also I would suggest to use a little less distortion because sometimes it felt like you are trying to hide behind the wall of sound and that's why dynamic was lost! Don't take me wrong you have nailed this track and it sounded amazing I just know that it can be even better with a few little tweaks! The second solo is played by snackajacks Haha man great solo:) Nice phrasing! LOL I think you did a great job transcribing it! I was really impressed! You almost got it! When the fast part started it sounded like you weren't sure what to play and a lot of notes were off (not from my take, off the key) Also if you would turn distortion tiny bit down your dynamic will be much better and you will have more control over your sound! Great job tho! -------------------- |

Hey Alex, Thanks for putting this together we sound great! I really value your comments, you are right I need to develop solos into higher octaves more than I do. And I'll turn down the distortion too Best regards, Martin |

Thanks Alex,
I am already in a general improvement programme with Cosmin, can we work on this at the same time or should I stick to one? Best, Martin |
