It must be in the stars. I started playing my Martin after a 24 year guitar coma. I went and bought a Fender Stratocaster and a GDEC amp and have been jamming to this site since Nov. I own another Martin now. I can't explain why I stopped can you? Maybe life just got in the way. Rock on my friend.

It gets stranger yet, I also quit for a similar period, but kept my Martin all that time. Last autumn I sold a night vision scope (had three of them) and got a good price, thought I would spend that on a toy, so got a Gibson SG Standard and Carvin Amp. And took up guitar again. Very strange, huh?
After that got a few more guitars (Gibson and Fender). Was working on Canon Rock in D, needed help on sweeping, and found this site after awhile.
Kris has a very good site here, best I have seen for sure. Was very pleased to find it.

Uh oh, be careful, I did the same thing, dusted off my 1985 Gibson SG about 6 months ago and started playing. I've been playing for almost 30 years.
All I had was my Gibson SG, a Washburn acoustic, and a Gorilla 35w amp.
NOW LOOK AT MY SIG!!!
I recently traded the SG for the ESP.

Just so you know, there are others out there just as nuts. As I said, I got the Gibson SG Standard Heritage Cherryand Carvin amp first. But after that (not mentioning anything electronic) I got
Gibson Les Paul Premium
Gibson Firebird V
Gibson Les Paul 58 Reissue
Gibson Les Paul Mahogany
Fender American Strat
Fender American Tele.
Must be something in the water at all our locations.
