I'm a new member and love the site but would love a way to put a check next to a lesson that I have already finished....

It also would be good, to have a set of systemic lessons in series, from beginner to master lessons, teaching skills needed for future lessons. This would give members a plan of study which would keep them on pace, with structure, and feedback.
Believe me, I love the GMC site but find myself skipping around and missing things that I know will need later.
Is such a plan or structure on this site that I have miss? Could a 20 lesson series be in order?
I would enjoy any feedback..

thanks,
Skip Goya

Hello SKip and wlecome to GMC! smile.gif

Thanks a lot for your feedback and interesting ideas.
You could use the GMC bookmarks feature to keep track of lessons that you have learned. For example you could make a folder in your bookmarks section named : "finished" and add the lessons there.

Check out our lesson series for more focus on specific areas/techniques : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/video-les.../lesson-series/

I really recommend Bear's Beginner's Corner series (even if you are not a beginner), check it out here : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/lessonser...ginners-Corner/

Great to have you on the site! smile.gif

That is one great suggestion, it's quite simple, and effective,

I would do that, in fact I'm going to, I'm learning some really cool blues lessons smile.gif

At the bottom of this post (in my signature) you will find a link to a lesson plan I made some time ago. It covers levels 2 to 6 (included) and goes through all the techniques and theory needed. It's a bit outdated though, and I should probably add Ben Higgins' legato and vibrato series among other things.

Here's also one structure that I made couple of years ago, it's can give you some directions:
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=312457

If you just started to play, then Bear's Beginner Series are good place to start:

As always, we are here, whatever you need! smile.gif

hey friend!! Those are really good ideas! We will use this feedback to think on something. Many of us are giving courses at the forum or Vchat sessions that have a systematic plan.. check every instructor's personal board to find it. Thanks for the feedback and keep on sharing all your thoughts regarding the site! smile.gif
