Hi guys! There is a cool trick how to be more melodic while you are playing. You need to sing the meldy of what you are playing at the same time. this technique will help you become more melodic plus you will develope inner hearing and will be able to transcribe and improvise with less effort!
So the way to practice is very simple!
1) when you are practicing your usual routine (scales, pentatonics etc.) sing along every note and make sure you are in pitch
2) sing melody and play it after. You can be as creative as you want just make sure you are playing exactly what your are singing
3)Also there is a very interesting software that I've been using for a while called" guitar and bass ear training "
The way this programm works it plays randome notes and you have to find them on the neck it's a really cool software and it really works!
let me know if you know some other ways to develope your inner hearing!

That's right!! This is the best method to develop our inner ear! I always make my students do this when we are working on new scales and also when they are start improvising. Good tips mate!
