good start. you might check out Marcus's beginning neoclassical lesson, and gabriel's sweeping and legato lesson, and his tapping lesson. you probably would like those, and you really learn a lot from them. well, other teachers to, Pavel has some real nice stuff, such as Free to Go, or Hand Control lesson. Check those out. Takes awhile to learn them well, but you can learn them in a fashion and just patiently work on them. Tip on Hand Control.....I hit a harmonic on the low note on the big stretch. Works fine. Gabriel has a big stretch on his Tapping lesson, but I got that eventually. Takes time.

Good first upload smile.gif

Start working on some vibrato to give the notes a little more life & colour, and begin working on some bends also to give the whole thing some flow to it, other than that, your doing great, getting your ideas out and can hear that theres a melody going on, so your starting to make some structure, great smile.gif well done smile.gif

Pavel's hand control lesson... I've been working on perfecting it for probably 6+ months now tongue.gif I can play the whole thing at a pretty good speed but it's a tough one. Has really helped my string skipping though.

as i said in the other post... theres alot of wahwah in there... use it sparingly and only when you think it would add some color or feeling to the solo, some musicians i know cant stand when people use wah too much... but then again theyve never had a wah so they dont know how fun it is to wobble your feet about to make funky noises like the sound off the lynx advert tongue.gif

i'd suggest you try the "in the style of Slash" lesson... great stuff in there biggrin.gif

that stretch held me up. but hitting a harmonic three times got me past that. now it flows all nicely, a really nice tune. now of course, the big one is Gilbert II, to get it to Muris speed, for string skipping. Ok, back to normal programming.
