Hello

I've got a question. I am looking for a VST plugin to create the bassline for recording my own songs, since I don't play bass, just the "normal" guitar.
I've got the Studio Instruments from Cakewalk which includes a bass, but it only contains a few loops. So I am wondering if there are other plugins that can help me wit this. Or is there an option to create your own loops using just my computer keyboard (not the instrument)? Is it also possible to use a drummachine for creating the bassline, and if so which one should I use?

I (now) use Ableton Live from Line6 as a recording tool along with the Toneport GX.
Many thanx in advance !

Hello everybody

My name is Vincent and I live in Belgium (actually born in the Netherlands).
I'm 28 years of age and I just signed up for the masterclass.
I did it because the Freelicks DVD - Speed, Tone and Theory was also very usefull for me.
I have played the guitar for about 8 years now, but I'm not really that good.
I kinda got stuck in playing chords and not being able to move on to playing solo's.
So now this year I wanted to change that. So I bought a new guitar and I'm taking guitar lessons once a week.
And I used the Freelicks DVD. And now signing up for the masterclass I hope I will be able to improve even more.

My 2 favourite bands are Queen and Metallica (weird combination? tongue.gif ).
So my two guitar heroes are Brain May and Kirk hammett.
I now own a ESP KH-202 and it's a really great guitar.

Kris, can you give me some idea where I can start ?
I started doing the Beginner Scales chapter....any ideas what to do next ?

Allright enough talking....Now it's time to practise.... wink.gif

Bye for now!
