Hey Muris how ya doing?

Well my first foray into learning the guitar didn't get off to a great start. Probably got my first guitar when I was 7-8 yrs old for christmas, it was an accoustic. I write left handed and my parents believed I would play left handed and therefore the guitar was strung accordingly. However christmas came around and I pick up the guitar and put it on as though for a righthanded player would do!! My parents seeing this said no the other way!! Me being a dumb kid did so and struggled to finger / play for a while and then gave up!! Not realising that I find playing righthanded more natural blink.gif LOL.

I suppose the moral is don't always think your parents are right smile.gif

Lol, that's awesome. We all have our moments though, so it's all good. At least you can play now.
