Steve Lukather Style Lesson, Lesson By Muris Varajic |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

hey friend! You did a good effort with this difficult lesson. It still needs some more work. The are some parts (mainly the faster) where the timing isn't correct and some others that could sound tighter. You have also to work on your vibrato, make it wider and more confident as well as on your bending because there are some notes out of pitch. I think that you should work on this two techniques but maybe using another easier lesson that allows you to concentrate only on vibrato and bending. Keep on working!

Excellent work with this one, I really like the tone you did and you started so well. Later on, you had lots of problems with timing, vibrato, some bends and faster passages. I think you need to work on this one a bit more, to learn each note properly, and to play it in time better. I think you can do it if you really dedicate some time in playing this on slower tempos. Faster passages are the problem.

The tone is beautiful! I love it,
Timing feels good but still in the fast passages, you need a bit more precision and confidence, The bends and vibrato sounds great, so you pretty much have the hardest stuff down, On the faster passages I'd say treat them as every other phrase, don't save energy or security on them, just treat every note with importance and have very clear understanding of where the down beat is so that all the other notes fall into place nicely -------------------- Visit my:
