Yep I attended that course Along with a songwriting course from Berklee as well, the quality of the videos and audio they provide is amazing for free

How was it? What can you tell of the courses?

Its really well organized, all of the courses at coursera are very well organized according to the difficulty of the lessons This particular course (Music production course) however, had a lot of small clips that could've been made into one clip, in my opinion.

For example, the basics lessons have lots of 1 to 1 and a half minute video clips, and most of those videos can be combined together to make less number of videos. It just got a bit annoying for me to download those tiny clips and then open a new video to find out that its a minute long and discusses a thing that was related to the last lesson.

Do you have any idea regarding the regularity of the courses? I noticed that this one began on the 19th of July and I was curious when the next one would start.. Thank you!

They start at the specified dates shown on coursera, then you get one week of lessons and related quizzes and assignments with due dates till the course ends (so if a course is two months long, you'll get a total of 8 groups of lessons, quizzes and assignments), and you have to complete and submit those assignments and quizzes by the due dates or you won't get a note of completion for the course, and also there's an exam at the end You can also pay some money to enter a test and become a Berklee certified music producer.

I know that other courses have been repeated after 6 months, but this might be different.
I think that you can start this one if you are not interested in the completion certificate.

Well, if I start it, I want to do it by the book So, no compromises - I want the completion certificate as well!
