Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Really strong take. This is not an easy one to play because the phrases are so funky and syncopated but you managed it very well.

There's still room for improvement. Your bends could be stronger and more direct.. sometimes the timing of the phrases is either too rushed or occasionally lagging behind.. usually rushed though, if anything.

Volume of your guitar could be louder as the backing overpowers it when it comes to the lead part.

Overall, very good - this would be a good lesson to keep playing just to work on your phrasing and timing smile.gif

Hi mate! That's a nice take!! As Ben said, the timing is the main thing to fix in this take. Besides that, I also think that your bending technique should be more precise.

Concentrate on those two things and you will master this lesson perfectly. wink.gif

I agree with the guys and I must add that your tone is good! Just pump up a little more volume and work on the timing to get the perfect take smile.gif

I liked it a lot! It's a very hard lesson to do because it's a clean sound and there is nowhere to hide! Some timing issues but it would be an easy fix if you will spend sometime with a metronome! Great job! Love your sound! smile.gif

Cool take! Like the guys said, you have to work on the timing and bends. I like your tone and phrasing. Cheers!
