Hi GMC, I've been trying to improve my speed picking by playing patterns but I've hit a snag... I can play a 16th note pattern at a certain speed for a while and then i go back to playing it later and I cant play it at the same speed eventhough my technique seems to stay the same. Any advice would be gratefully received, thanks You just need more practice, that's all. After many hours of hard work your hands will be able to play in your current top speed any time. By now, looks like you're reaching the top but well warmed up as well. -------------------- Youtube

always remember to start small and build big. Think of it like a puzzle. Practice on passage with a metronome then move to the next passage then connect the two. Think Small Then Big. Do this Honestly and you will be rewarded. good luck man. take care
