> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Thanks!
I tried to record my acoustic-take but there seems to be a problem with the audio hardware. I can barely hear the acoustic guitar in the recording, but the input levels are all on max unsure.gif
This is my hardware: behringer C-1 mic into m-audio fast track pro usb.. I'll try to figure out what the problem is, or maybe I post it here in the forums..

Morning!
Here's a take @ 70bpm recorded with my webcam - still got probs with my mic.
At full speed it gets too sloppy, so I still have to practice.

What do you think about this so far?

Mate, you are ok, till 0.53, where it looks feels you are tensing up a bit smile.gif but that's because you are not relaxed with the tempo YET biggrin.gif nothing which a bit more practice won't settle smile.gif I like it! Let's see some more biggrin.gif

Hey Cos! After the v-chat yesterday I thought maybe it makes sense to do a funk-lesson as next assignment - what do you think about that?
BTW at weekend I'll try your timing developing excercise mentioned yesterday - looks promising smile.gif

And here is a first take on the Funk-Lesson (well, the original is @ 80 bpm, but the downloadable backing is @ 100bpm...) but I just give it a first try.

Good afternoon mate! Very good timing I must say! A few blurs here and there when playing the octaves, but with a little more practice you'll get this one sparkling clean tongue.gif

Thanks! Yes I'll put some more time on this today and upload another take, what do you think about my take on the funk-lesson? Can we start another one or should I put some more time on this, too (well, to be honest - it's a boring lesson tongue.gif )

Hey man! Sounds like you nailed it, although, it needs to be more punchy and tight - this is the role of the guitar in funk music smile.gif you could try it one more time, as I am very fond of the idea of doing things thoroughly wink.gif then we can move on.

Try to play the muted 16th notes as if you were a metronome, k?

Let me know how it goes wink.gif

Alrighty - do you have the 80bpm backing for me (that's the original lesson speed I think)?

Mate, you should ask Bogdan about that - I can only provide backing tracks which are made by me, for the others, I think it's a good idea to ask Bogdan wink.gif

It is ALMOST ready wink.gif the first part of the lesson - up to sec 0.19 , has the open E string muted a bit too abruptly - I would mute it somewhere closer to the bridge so that it will build up some chunk biggrin.gif otherwise, we are good to go!
