Hi, I was wondering if any of you would know how much money I could get off a Gibson Les Paul Studio at Guitar Center? I have never done any trade-ins there so I am not sure how it all works. Also if this counts into the price its in very good condition. Thanks!

I expect a lot less than selling it on ebay.

edit: music stores sometimes will sell you a shipping box for maybe $20. one here does. that is the rout I would take. music stores are more willing to give you a deal if you bought it at the store, but not so crazy about it generally if not. they are looking to move things out, not move things in.

Well they'll probably br really cheap, cause I was trying to sell a studio as well in a limited edition blue. And every guitar store offered $500 to me which is a complete rip off. I ended up selling it to a friend of mine for 800 which was still low but better then selling to a guitar shop. IMO you should try ebay.

Dude i have one word for you EBAY! Some people love it some hate it but i'm telling you want to get top dollar out of your guitar thats the way to go.I had a Jackson DK2 that i had bought about 2 years ago and sold it just afew months abo for about $100.00 less than i payed for it.Pretty good in my opinion, also a les paul copy i payed about $100.00 for sold for $150.00 this is all in US dollars ofcourse as im in america.Do you have any knowledge on Ebay?I'm a power seller and have many transactionson there.Tell you what check out guitar center's price which i would say is low and tel me what they say and if you want i will tell you what i could probably bring out of it on Ebay and if you would like i will even help you sell it. smile.gif
