> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi friend! Good effort with this nice lesson. You've already learnt the licks, now it's time to polish the lesson. The main thing to improve on this one is vibrato, but there are also some timing issues and problems with the pitch of some bends in the second half of the lesson. My suggestion is that you keep on practicing this lesson over the main video to imitate vibrato, timing and also bending pitches.

Keep on the hard work! wink.gif

Hey mister smile.gif

Gabi is right - use your ears on the original recording and try to imitate the articulation details - bends and vibrato, so that you will get as close as possible to the original recording, ok? You can also try to record over the original recording so that you may compare the takes smile.gif

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Blues is a real deal school of dynamics and articulation. Even if a notes/scale material seems to be easy, it's much harder to translate all the details. You're doing pretty well with this lesson but I'll still have to relate to what I wrote in the first take. With this kind of shuffle groove, precise timming and rhythm feel is essential.

PErsonally I would not hurry things up. I would try to cut it into pieces and spend a long time on catching every single detail - like notes length, vibrato depth and rate...etc.
