I just got my new Alesis M1 Active Mk2 monitors and so I bring you a song I am working on. I leave for the holiday, so this is my work.
This is the best setup I can do right now. Can't really safely make these monitors higher. And don't have room for them to be spread more apart. I read some of the instruction manual. biggrin.gif

Jackson SLSMG soloist guitar (baritone wanna-be)
Tuned to Drop A with a 68 on the bottom string.

POD Farm for guitars
Main rhythms use a Tube Screamer, and Big Bottom amp with lots of mids and treb. I use the '4x12 Green 25' for my cab. I did use some compression before the amp.

I will add two more guitars with more of a crunch than a gain afterwards.

EZdrummer with Drums from Hell expansion pack
I used samples and also programmed my own kicks and etc.

I used Trilogy Bass Module for the bass.

Hope you like,
Brandon

I ended up stuffing black socks into the 4 port holes because of the small room I am in. Too bassy - so it helps with the poor acoustics of the room. I know you can't see the socks in the picture, but that's because of the high contrast I put on the picture for effect.

Well I'm glad you received it then. biggrin.gif Aria's song "The Seed" gave me inspiration for that chorus. smile.gif

Merry Christmas to you too!! This was the big present for me. I am working on a Christmas arrangement or two.

Thank you. It's so cool to hear my POD Farm screaming through these monitors as opposed to my iHome. smile.gif

That is something that anyone who has small 2 way open/ported monitors should do. If you don't the bass will be over exagerrated and poorly controlled and will also be prone to distortion and have poor and inconsistent timing.

Hey man, that was awesome! smile.gif So heart-warming and cheerful, and I like the snowy effects, sets up the mood perfectly smile.gif The thing I like the most in your playing is that you have a good arsenal of tricks but you don't overuse them, just put them in specific places, giving the song a cool flavour! Finally, the production is just great, making these arrangements is the best way to get the full picture, There's so much more to making music than just guitar skills and you're on a great way! I love these arrangements you make, keep 'em coming mate biggrin.gif
