It would be really cool if you can play chord tones included in your solo! Here is an example:
A7 chord structure: A-C#-E-G Find a structure for other chords and try focusing on chord tones if you want to make all the changes!

Nice backing! Really changes around so this should make for some interesting ideas. I've never consciously worked out chord tones so I look forward to trying that out!

Yeah man! It's a fun backing track! You don't have to do all the chord tones you can switch it around and have a lot of fun using pentatonic as well!

This is pretty tricky to play over.
You pretty much have to change on every chord to a new box/scale
Any tips Alex? I'm struggling to keep up. And can't get my teeth into it.

This wasn't something I was able to jump right into either. After letting the progression sink in for a while I started playing simple single notes that fit over the changes. It seemed to help me get my ears trained for the changes after some time. Its not predictable at all which makes it challenging!
Alex, Would it be possible get a count in to the start of track?

It was quite hard to get the right feel just from the metronome, and it sounds a bit dull without the track... anyway if you need me to redo the take or want me to shorten it ( the return of the theme for instance) just let me know

Hey alex! I'm finally done!!! I had to readjust the tracks, for some reason the guitar recording would be out of synch with the back track by 1/2th of a second, took me a while to figure it out, I thought I was playing it wrong or something
Blues Collab is done! Will be edited in a few days! Thank you guys for submitting your takes!!!! I am looking forward to put them all together and hear the results! Good job everybody!

Hi guys!!!! Thank you for joining my blues collab, it was very exciting to hear your takes and you all did a great job!!! There were a few timing issues and it seemed like at some point you ran out of the ideas, but than you brought it back! I can suggest learning new licks and do some pentatonic and arpeggios combination it will help you develop solos better and have it from the beginning to the end!
Second solo played by: DeGroot You did an amazing job! I was impressed! You had a great sound and I could hear the idea from the beginning till the end! Some licks were out of time and a few notes were out of tune! It will come with more experience and you are definitely on the right track! I really liked your ideas with arpeggios and mixed scales and pentatonics! Very nice!
Third solo played by: Lixx Very nice and melodic take! I liked it a lot! I liked your sound and licks were very nice! there was a few timing issues, but I think if you will keep practicing with a metronome it will be an easy fix!!! You had some cool combinations of pentatonics! Very very good!!!
