Picking Hand Basics, Lesson By Ben Higgins |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Petr! Great job with this lesson!
You can make this sound sound good and I can say that it's very close to be a perfect take. It has some VERY little details that you could have in mind to polish even more your alternate picking technique. Here are the things that you should check: - The notes are sometimes a bit shorter and that makes your playing sound a bit like with staccato. This can be generated by the palm of your right hand or maybe because you quit the finger from the fret too early. Ben's playing sounds smoother in this way. - Your timing for the 16th notes is not bad but sometimes you tend to go a bit before the beat. Be careful with this also when you play the triplets. That's all, I think that you are ready for an advanced lesson. Maybe this one? https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Altern...king-Workout-2/ Gab.- -------------------- My lessons
