Hi Rhida, it's good that you're using the upstrokes now.. it feels odd at first but it's useful to be able to perform upstrokes as comfortably as down strokes.

Here's some things to watch out for and improve:

-The E5 chords often sound as if you are only hitting the open E string.. try to get the A and D string in there at all times for the full sound.
-The A#5 / A5 / G5 descent at 0:10 is a bit rough. I think it's because you're maintaining the same pressure and sliding your hands down the strings to reach the next chords. It's hard to explain in words but when you change to another chord it should feel like you're moving solidly to a new chord, not sliding it whilst keeping the same pressure on the strings. The change at 0:14 is a much better example of how you want it to feel and sound so use that as your guide.
- 0:17 you're cutting the G5 chord short... some of these chords are played staccato but some of them are left hanging for longer during these turnaround riffs.
-0:18-0:19 the same thing applies here to the chord changes.. they're unclear as if your hand is just sliding over all the strings. First try to separate the chord changes and focus on treating them as separate positive movements. Play them slowly, concentrating on your fingers reaching the requires fret positions in one easy movement. Gradually increase the tempo as you feel more comfortable. Also watch out for your fingers bending whilst you change. This is a sign that you're not comfortable with position shift. This will improve though

Hi Rhida!

You are doing a very good job with this lesson, I can see that you are doing on the right direction with the work of this lesson. Your timing is better compared with the previous take, and the chords are sounding better. However there is still some important work to do in both things.

Your timing has some problems during the groove but the problem becomes more important during the drum fills. A good way to work this would be to download the backing track, and create loops of the parts that are having most important timing issues (00:17, 00:32).

The second problem is the sound of some chords that tends to be unclear and sometimes has pitch issues. The problem here is your left hand, you are not pressing the frets right, and you also need to improve the sections that have slide or fast chord changes. (00:09, 00:18, 00:31, 00:33). Once again, isolate this sections, and if it's possible practice it using small parts of the backing.

So, I can say that your playing is getting better, your groove is tighter but you should focus on the details explained above to master this lesson that is great to improve your rhythm rock/metal skills.

As the guys said, things are getting better and better with each take and I don't think there's anything much to add on what Ben and Gabi have already stated. So in order to revise things, please focus on the details mentioned and don't leave the problematic passages aside until they sound as tight, clean and in good timing as possible.

I know it's tedious work, but one day, you will think about all this and laugh while you play all sorts of cool things in a healthy and natural way, because you took care of details and basic techniques NOW
