Guys I have been away for a week due to a recent tragedy that hit my family. We are recovering, and I expect to be active with guitar tonight. i even went to my guitar lesson yesterday, and even though it felt like my heart wasn't totally into it, I was glad I went. By the end of the lesson I forgot about my troubles even if it was just for a little while. On the bright side, I have plenty of raw emotional sludge to draw from now.

Welcome back DWR, sorry to hear about your troubles.

That's the great thing about guitar, it can act as a powerful distraction and a way of coping with your feelings. Great to hear you're getting stuck in and marching on again.

Hello DWR ,

it is GOOD to hear that you want give up - you ,like everyone, got your OWN way and this ONE is to go what ever happens around someone !

Many things in lifetime happen of course , one must figure it out from inside if it is worth or not for fighting with this or all those troubles ,

when there are people around and close to someone it is really much harder when something happen or going wrong with them.

I don't know whats exactly happen to you but one thing i really know what happens inside one - lets say deep in the heart -
is timeless and always with you - what counts are those little moments what one can call love ......

Dieter

Sorry to hear that buddy, but it's a good thing you tried to get your mind occupied with guitar. Even if it gets you out of the trouble for just an hour or two, it's better than nothing.

It's great to have such support. I picked up the guitar today, and it's tuned for drop C, and the first thing I come up with is pretty sad. No surprise there. As bad as last week was, I think something good can come out of it. Its kind of weird how a bad experience can draw out something inside when you pick up a guitar. Thanks all.
