Never heard about them (not surprisingly as I don't listen to this genre much) but I love it! I love the complex bass/guitar tapping lines that work so well together. Also the video seems to be on the "cheap" side though it looks awesome!

Why hate this band? They are not my cup of tea, but there's nothing bad about them as far as I can see. Pretty complex playing.

It's not bad, but I'd rather put on a Vader album

Wow, this is intense. I like arrangements, they are complicated, very progressive. I usually dislike these kinds of vocals, but this guy has relatively pleasant color.

A little OT but following on from Uncreator's comment about understanding the lyrics...
Opera singers are supposed to sing in a clear and understandable manner but clarity of diction doesn't mean that it will be understood. There's two occasion I know of: 1/ where a male tenor forgot the words to a major and well known aria during a performance and so he made it up. Audience didn't notice. If you think that is bad here's a worse one. 2/ An opera company sang an entire major production in French whilst the on-screen video had the lyrics up in Italian. The original libretto is in Italian and performances and recording usually also. This was at a major opera house by a major company and the audience included a large number of critics. Only 1 critic commented. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
