> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: In the style of Gary Moore - Ballad & Blues by Piotr Kaczor

This is take number 2. I hope you like it. For this take i turned up the guitar volume. Payback is still clipping, don´t know why. Some parts are still not perfect, but quite better than the last one. Thank you for any comments. They are helping a lot.

You did a very good job! One the faster parts you are rushing a little bit and also bends weren't to accurate in pitch
I would suggest to work on this lesson a little bit more using metronome and you will make it sound perfect!
Overall great playing! Very nice tone and I could tell that you spent some time with this lesson!
Keep it up!

This is much better, Jan smile.gif

The pull off bits were better but that aspect of your playing still needs time and attention given to it so it can improve even more.

It would be really nice to see you work on your bending and vibrato soon too, as a little bit of improvement in these areas can go a long way to making a guitar solo sound much better !

Well done, keep it up cool.gif

I agree with Ben and Alex and as a solution to improve this lesson, I would suggest tackling some easier pieces that focus on articulation - vibrato and bending that is. If you are interested, please write me a PM and I would gladly help you out with choosing some easy and fun lessons which will help develop your skill in order to tackle this one in your worst days smile.gif
