Hello people, this is for introducing myself.

I'm 31 and I live in Turin, in the proud NorthWest of Italy. I'm an advertising graphic designer always overworking.
My father, mother, uncle, and various others, are nice or good or very good guitar players and singers.
I always wanted to learn to play it on my own, 'cause no one of them have ever learnt just one single song I liked, so that we can sing it together. They love bluegrass or american folk music and want me to love it too. mellow.gif

I love rock, possibly angry and a bit sad. My uncle even told me :"this is not music, this is just rumor"
Please note how much this is ironical: he is the one that left mom and dad to be a Hippy on Goa Beach when he was 25 (1975), and reached India mainly hitchhiking with just a backpack and his guitar. And now tells me about rock being RUMOR!

So, freedom is not for free: I want someone to play some good rock for me? Fine, I'm gonna be that someone.

I choosed this site and community just for one reason: Kristofer Dahl seemed to be a funny guy (and handsome too tongue.gif ). Ok I'm kidding a little.
The main reason was the Kris told (I don't remember where) "I had no musical talent: I build my way to it, even if teachers told me I could not learn anything"

I started many times to learn the guitar, and stopped.
Now everything is going on fine and easy. Probably this time is simply the right one.
But the old and always right idea "no one has no talent, but many are awful teachers" gave me the spark I was looking for.
Because I suddenly remembered myself saying the same to my uncle: "everyone can be a good drawer and painter if they have a good teacher and work hard and happily enough every day. This is the way I did".
I doesn't belive me and belive that mine is talent.

That's why he can't draw. laugh.gif
