I find your that photo offensive and insulting, and certainly inappropriate here.

because he is making a political statement, making the current president of the us an object of ridicule.
are you doing to deny that? right, he has him singing and playing guitar midst suffering people in the aftermath of New Orleans. No, no political statement there? While some of you may enjoy doing this, others do not, keep in mind that not everybody has the same views as you. You should leave your political view totally out of here, i don't share mine with you, and i don't care to have those of anyone else shoved in my face. This is very bad manners.

glad you could see that slash. i mean, things like that trigger responses from those offended. if i dug up a picture making some political person an object of ridicule, i am fully aware that would offend a lot of people. maybe not the majority, but still a sizable number of people who do not feel that person deserves ridicule. And that triggers what you say, argument that are not connected with what we are concerned with here, guitar playing.

i was using the word "your" in the plural sense. and in the colloquial sense, where it is a general statement of what is appropriate behavior for everyone.

sorry for the misunderstanding.

but come on. i am fully aware that if i dug up some photo making some political leader in Norway an object of ridicule, some there could be offended. So i would not do it. Not on a guitar forum, that is for sure.

It was in the wake of hurricane Katrina, though, and that is really no laughing matter over here; but I can see where your coming from since your not from the U.S.

no john, you don't really believe that. well, maybe you do, but no, that is not the message intended, i assure you. this is a picture from the aftermath of the New Orleans flood, with him super imposed. the political message may not have been clear to you, you are not from the US. But it is clear to me.

He really is not making much of a statement...Although i would recommend taking it down as SOME people MAY find it offensive.
