Here is my first OVERLOUD TH2 Patch for the New Year! Enjoy! This is using a RANDALL amp head emulation to make a silky/bluesy/low gain rythm tone with tons of dynamis. Here is the patch and a sample.

Nice sounding preset Todd!
Many thanks Are you using the Overloud stuff? I've started using Th1 (the starter version) just cause it seems so quick and dirty for building patches. Both are great though

DJENT "ISH" TH2 PATCH!
TH2 is focused on "Tube" sounding amp emulations to a large degree IMHO (but feel free to take the other side of that for some lively posting) but I thought I'd try to make a more "Djenty" or Djent "ISH", sorta kinda patch than usual with it. If you have TH2, this one is for you! If you don't have it, Good Lord man go download the demo already!
**IMPORTANT TIP! Notice the FX Chain, being able to understand what is going on in the fx chain will help you be able to built your own patches in software and in the real world!

Thanks! That leads me to a question that I have to ask -- and it seems like everyone has this issue. How do you import banks to TH2? I tried before I left for my trip and couldn't figure it out!
PS. I was away on a fishing trip. Sorry for the late reply!

no worries here is a vid to walk you through importing in to th2

Thanks Here is a link to a video to walk you through it! I tend to make my patches a bit crazy on the gain, and sometimes to tight on noise gate as a result. So if your sustain is getting cut off, trim back the gate!

VAN HALEN TONE CLONE PATCH ("You Really Got Me" Tone)
Here is an OVERLOUD TH2 patch I designed to sound like early EDDIE VANHALEN. Much less expensive than buying his old rig Here is a sound sample.
Here is a quick vid about importing IR files in to TH2. (IR files are IMPULSE RESPONSE FILES) that mimic the sound of a certain guitar cabinet with a certain microphone at a certain angle)

BRUNETTI INSANITY PATCH!!
(Direct Link to this post: http://bitly.com/brunetti_insanity )
*Custom built for SPOCK! This is a "High Gain" patch based on the BRUNETTI ( Boutique Italian Amps that cost more than your car) tube head. Enjoy!!
ooh nice, thanks for posting. I'll grab a copy of that when I get home Im still really green when it comes to creating tones on th2 so its always cool to get presets.
Posted by: Todd Simpson Oct 23 2014, 09:12 AM
Anytime!! Grab this one and see what you think. It's always a little different on each rig. Variances in guitar/pickups/input gain/etc.
This one has wads and wads of low end without being too boomy hopefully That Brunetti head is a wonderful creation and I'm glad they included it. It's Italian and so is the company that makes TH2. They were able to work closely with Brunetti to profile all of their pricey, boutiquey bits!!!
Post a recording example of how it sounds with your gear if you can!

this is it without any tweaks, just put it straight into th2 and played a Gibson SG with Tom Anderson pickups https://soundcloud.com/bleez666/insane-patch
a bit more metal than the vintage-ish type of tones that I usually try to find, that's for sure
Posted by: Todd Simpson Oct 23 2014, 08:48 PM
NICE!!!!! I gotta say it sounds MEAN and RUDE and I dig it )
I'd be happy to make a more traditional, less "Metalized" version for ya. This was is Tubey but also Metalized with room tone reverb and extra bite.

That would be awesome, todd I was hoping to try and build a main tone along the lines of a classic rock / bluesy style. Kinda like the vibe that Bonamassa has when he plays with Black Country Communion, not that I expect it to sound like him but y'know that sorta style, vintage but with balls enough to hit a few tasteful pinched harmonics any help would be much appreciated.

Sure He's got a modded Marshall sort of sound. I don't know who mods them but they do a fine job! I"ll post something when I have it ready

FRIEDMAN BE100
I used TH2 to try to capture some of the gentle savagery of the BE100. What I like about the Friedman BE100 is that you can hit it soft and it will soften, hit it harder on the same setting and it screams. All the while it doesn't get muddy like some tube amps tend to do. It's like a "tighter" Marshall with more precision and responsiveness. Of course, they cost more than my car so this will have to do
