Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Brilliant rendition ! smile.gif

One thing I think may help you with vibrato.. for all of the lower strings from E to G, try directing the string downwards with your vibrato because you will find it easier to gain more control over it smile.gif (with practise, of course)

For the B and high E string, the upward approach works but for the other strings, try it the way I suggested and see if you notice a difference !

Good job mate. This lesson is really helpful for training alternate picking, with outside crossing strings.
I think that this is a very good take. You should adjust a bit your timing, there are some moments where your playing is 100% tight to the backing. Also I would add to Ben comment that you could move less your picking hand while you play alternate picking.

Sounds good!
A few things you can work on
-Vibrato try practicing it using a metronome
- Timing use a metronome as well and play it slowly at a comfortable tempo
Also your ring finger and pinky need some work, those are the weakest fingers in general and need to be developed
You can do a chromatic scale exercise using a metronome and in a couple of months you will be great!
