Well I was wondering which guitar I should get

Alexi Lahio signature

or

Jackson RR24?

I really like Jackson guitars. I love the crazy shapes and their headstock but I have also been looking at Alexi Lahio's signature. So I made this topic to ask which one is better or which one do you think I should get. laugh.gif

I recently played both and I have to say that the Alexi sucked with the Emg Hz but rules with the Blackout pickup (the newer alexis have the new Seymour Duncan Blackout pickup). With the Blackout the Alexi sounded better than the Jackson but the Jackson quality was better than on the Esp (it's just an Ltd actually). The guitars are almost equal, you'll have to try them both at a shop and compare them to each other to find out which one you like more.

I have been thinking of doing that. There is a place about 30-45 minutes away from my house that has the RR24 and I have heard from a friend that they have had the Alexi but I'm not sure if thats true. Plus the other thing is that I dont wanna have my dad pay like 1000 and somethin dollars on a guitar that doesnt sound good.

I had only troubles with signature equipment, so I would recommend Jackson.

Well m8, I believe (with a reason) that most of signature equipment is both relatively pricey and low quality because they put a name on it and people expect to get the same gear as their idol uses. In most cases their idols didn't use anything like that and had custom made pieces that were 10x better.
