In addition to learning guitar, my other passion is cars. Here is my '82 Camaro Z28. It has a 350 ci engine bored .030 over with a Weiand 6-71 supercharger. Lots of other engine goodies as well...AFR heads, dual Holley 600 carbs etc. It is putting out about a little over 600 hp right now. I just installed a brand new Moser 9" rear end with 4.56 gears and a mini-spool. It LAUNCHES now! Check out the last pic with the license plate....can you tell I am a Maiden fan?!

That plate rocks man, it sure does!

I don't know much about cars but that one looks powerful. Nice wheels too!
Just one question... Can you actually see the road with that huge engine thing in the middle? laugh.gif

I forgot to answer your other question... I do drive it but in the summer only (obviously!) It is getting quite expensive though since fuel is $4.20 a gallon and the only gets 5 miles per gallon!!!

Nice job on the Z man, I have had my share of Rat racers over the years, 3 kids later I drive a Durango now (not without some serious HP Tweaks)

This is what I do on the weekends now. 1/3 mile oval track, with this little sucker, full cage, 5 point harness, Kirkey seat and Monster Tach and guages. It keeps me outa trouble.

I own a 1974 Chevy Nova 3/4 of the way restored and customized. I bought it in Georgia 5 years back and gutted it. I started from the ground up by taking a sawzall to the floors and rewelded new pans. After 5 long years of chasing parts I was ready for the engine this year and we hit $4.00 a gallon and rising....how's your gas mileage Praetorian? 3 miles/gallon? biggrin.gif Nice ride!! I'll post some pics of mine later

Matt 00 - Nice Honda! I raced in SCCA for many years with this RX-7 in the ITA class. We ran at Lime Rock, Watkins Glen etc. here in the Northeast. I had to sell it though since I now have 3 kids. I couldn't afford the Camaro AND a race car, so I chose the Camaro!

I have been looking at this 350-350HP turn key since it was $3200. The price has increased to $5,050 even with high gas prices so I am 2nd guessing
http://www.proformanceunlimited.com/specs/350_350drop.html
These guys do build some nice engines though

Beautiful engine! A nice 383 stroker would also be a good option. I love those engines! Great torque for launching off the line!

I'm a little bit of a car guy. I drive an 06 Black STI. I modified it a bit though. I took off all the stickers and put a WRX trunk lid & spoiler. So it looks like a WRX. I also have Stage 1, so it's 325hp, AWD. Should run a 13.0 in the 1/4. Would love to mod it more, (I did have a Stage 2 setup), but getting married and such sucks all the remaining money I have. That and I'm still under warrenty.

I had the WRX 2002 and I'll tell you, I hated these cars until I owned one. I was won over by the smooth ride and the power....not to mention the all wheel. I almost bought another but went for a brand new Mazda 3 due to gas
Not a big fan of the changes from 2005 forward

That Camaro looks MEAN man! Excellent car. Are you planning maybe to fabricate a custom hood for it. It can be out of metal, and the central engine part could be on display.
