Hey guys, I came to idea to do a Gary Moore ballad collaboration. Are you up for it?
I realize it is time of holidays, but must have something to keep you busy during summer days, or you will neglect guitar too much for girls and beach.
I'm up for this.
This sounds fun. I'm in.
Great, love rock ballads. And Gary moore.
Defiantly in.
sounds good
Im in!
Count me in if there is any space still available...
me 2
Wow, great feedback making UPLOAD topic right now
I'm in... If theres still space. Ivan when can we start recording it?
im in if there is still a place for it.
I'm in too, if there's still room.
Please me too! Hope there is still room !
I don't know if I shgould post in here, but the Upload thread, it says "collab open till the 25th of june"
Mind if I ask what the Chord progression is?
Of ocurse not it is Am Dm G C F B E7
Mmmmm - tasty backing track - sounds just like "Still got the Parisienne Walkways" My favourite GM tracks!
I believe this song is in 12/8 time, Does anyone know what Tempo it's in.
I know It's 4/4 60bpm (you have a bar precount )
Thanks Andrew! It'll be my pleasure to have you on the collab
PS the backing is made for my new lesson Gary Moore Style, so I tried to nail the "Still got the Parisienne Walkways" vibe.
Thanks Ivan! I'll have mine up in a couple days... sorry for making all these posts on the upload thread
Cool man! Allows some work on modes as well, I geuss. I'll be looking into this during the next 10 days or so. Have to get home first and all.
Count me in! I'll record after my holiday, so that's very much in time. Nice again here Ivan. I like Gary Moore, I hope I can create something nice for this one!!
woops, posted in the wrong thread, so here again, count me in!!
I´m in.
I'm defintly in
oh yea, count me in
You got it
Is that a B or Bm before the E7 in the progression? Maybe my ears fool me, but it sounds more like Bm to me :S
Bm7b5
Yeah, I can hear that now, no doubt. But that means I got something right...right? That it's not a B...
I'll keep the comments on the current takes in here, while not having anything to upload. OrganisedConfusion: That was very, very tasteful playing! I really enjoyed that!
Ivan, I want in this one soo badly, but I dont have any recording equiptment I have been jamming out to your super tasty backing!
Ivan, the backing is great! Sounds good so far everyone.
Hey Smells, is that your new guitar? Sounds great man!
Great feedback on this one,and it is a great collab.I am in.
I simplified chords. I used:
Am7, Dm7, G6, Cmaj7, Fmaj7, Bdim, E7
Well, it was more the B I was concerned about. A Bdim chord...that is a minor chord, right? Has got a minor third anyways. That was why I got a bit confused when trying to modulate into another key on that specific chord. Anyways, thanks for clearing that up.
I'm in, if there's room !!
I'm in, me and Gary are like THAT!!
i'm in
Heheh, you got it
If there is still room I'll record something.
There is room, Collab is open for everyone mate
Ivan this backing is so inspiring and great that I'm installing Gearbox & reaper at my girlfriendf's computer right now just to take part before I leave on vacation in a few days!!
Awesome, awesome!! I'll upload my take before I leave
Hahaha that's the spirit Fran! Thank for joining in mate!
The Backing is really nice and I like the Still got the Blues Progression a lot. Keep 'em coming
Thanks man. Join in if you like it, I'm throwing in nice comments in the end of every collab.
Eek! Can't believe I've missed this one! Gary Moore is my hero, I gotta join
I'm not home with my electric guitar until the 17th, though. But I still have some time left before the collab closes down.
Just hope I can come up with something...
Aaah, I see, sorry then mate
i fear i have to chicken out - atm i just don't have enough time
good contributions everyone!
Ok man, the collab is officially over, wait for tomorrow for final mix and comments (hopefully it will be finished by 28. July, because it is another monster collab )
