GMC Forum _ REC _ (9, Pass) Open String Riffing In E Scale

Posted by: gregc1 Mar 22 2012, 01:26 PM

Original lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Open_String_Riffing/

Here's my take on Emir's Open String Riffing lesson for Ben's Guitar Bushido course. Between Ben and Gabriel I've been doing a lot of riffing work here lately which I've really been enjoying. I've got one more coming pretty soon here from Gabriel's Army that's been roughing me up but I'm just about there. Look forward to your feedback!

I like your take!
Good job! A few things!
When you switched to A open chord you started to rush a little bit
You can work more on this transaction at a slower tempo using a metronome and it will be perfect!
I like your sound and you did a very good job on the riff!

Awesome take man! Congratulations smile.gif As Alex said, you pushed it a bit around 0.23 but other than that, the tone is good, you got the groove and you played clean wink.gif

Very good man! Focus a bit on keeping the steadiness in all the take and it can be a 10!

Great take!
As Alex & Cosmin said, some more work on the A chord riff is needed and it would be a perfect take.

Nothing to add! Focus on the A chord part and it would be fantastic!

Hi mate! You are working hard on your rhythm! I think that this is a good take on this tricky rocker lesson. There are some details that could be fixed like some synchronism problems (for example in the riff at 00:23) and the last 3 string bend that is a bit our of pitch but the overall is very good. Well done! Keep on rocking. Looking forward the Army's take. smile.gif

Nice tone and take ! You have some swinging in the timing, but overall is not that bad ! I believe that the next attempt would be perfect! Keep practicing smile.gif
