Well i love to play blues as i think its the best genre to play on guitar just because you get so much feel out of it...

But now i want to expand my guitar skills to a new level going abit heavier, rock and fast alternate picking..

Now my skill level is at around difficulty 3 and sometimes 4.

i want to be playing guitar pieces at difficulty 6/7

Alright mate! Tell me what do you enjoy more: lead or rhythm playing?

I enjoy playing lead, i mean i was a rhythm guitarist in a band for 2 years, and it was good, but i was always jelous of the lead guitarist who got all the lime light haha. so i definitely want to improve on my lead skills

Alright and since 'You're here to succeed' biggrin.gif let's tackle a little blues solo, and I was thinking of this one:

http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/blues-soloing-beginner/

it has all the blues can offer - feel, rhythmic approach and articulation elements. What do you think, do you like this one?

Great! Let's share some first thoughts over it when you have given it a good listen and you are ready, I would suggest focusing on articulation, meaning bending, vibrato, slides, this sort of stuff alongside timing and tightness.

Each little piece at a time ok? No rush smile.gif

Hey man! How are you faring with the lesson? smile.gif you were pretty silent and I was curious to know if everything is ok.

Wow biggrin.gif hehehe, great take man! Really, aside from some minor timing slips, the tone and interpretation are very good! Congrats biggrin.gif

Now, what say you - would you be interested in submitting a video take for the REC section for this lesson, or you would like to move on to another more challenging lesson?

all the best

Cosmin

PS: you have what it takes to play lead! biggrin.gif
