Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! I can say that you are ready to start working on the Power Metal Medley! This take has some details to polish, some little sections that could sound clearer and tighter but the overall is good. Keep on playing this one focusing on details and let's go to the next level!

Keep rocking. wink.gif

Hey mate smile.gif

I agree with Gabi - your take is shaping up nicely, but it could be more tight and certain smile.gif It's just a matter of building confidence and intention in your playing, so give it a bit more time while practicing it focused on tightness and nailing every detail. Try to anticipate every little thing in it that you feel important, ok? In that way, you won't feel like the piece is taking you by surprise in some spots smile.gif

Hey man! Nice to see You again in the REC section smile.gif You did most of the job but there is still some tightness to reach witch the timming and precision. Good news is:

1. You play correct notes
2. You do good muting job - no unwanted noises /strings under what You play.

Now what is now necessary to achieve is to make that track have "balls" if You know what I mean smile.gif Try to work on Your "tone from hands execution". I would go for different type of distortion....this one sounds a bit like a turned on wah wah pedal. I think that better matched distortion - a bit more gain, different amp simulation type in Your tone device could really improve the performance in 50%. Other 50% is the equality of tone and picking strength to get that rich chunky tone that we love in this kind of playing.
Great job...now it's time to get You to another level smile.gif
