So as some might remember a little while back I was between two Jackson guitars. Well after going to a guitar center my mind once again was not only changed but set on a new guitar. I played the ESP Alexi -600 Blacky guitar and I fell in love with it. The alder wood was unbelievably light. The neck binding was just beautiful and most importantly the guitar plays like a dream.

Here it is: Its the black one by the way.

It's a very cool loking guitar and I am sure it plays great. I also prefer black on that picture. Great decision.

My Dad isn't too happy. It wasn't his first choice, but it isn't his guitar either so it doesn't matter!

hahah I remember when I had Paul Gilbert Ibanez - PGM 30 and it was white. My older brother said, it's all cool but why white? I was laughing for a week. It's like a question why the water is wet.

See back in the 80's and 90's my father makes himself out to be a shredder which actually from what I have seen is highly believable. He liked Jackson guitars when Marty was with Megadeth which is how I got my Jackson Kelly, ever since he I guess "mellowed out" his common saying to me is, "Why do you want a $2000.00 Jackson when you could get a Gibson Les Paul that's much better. So for his choice it was all Gibson and Fender. Guitars though, the come in different shapes and sizes and everyone has their own preferences. Personally though I think he understands I am almost 15 years old and I deserve at least something different then the standard strat you know. I think he is just scared that I'm going to be one of those kids who sits on his bed all day and just makes crappy noises with a wammy bar tongue.gif

Oh man, that guitar is awesomeness with strings!
If you`re not in a band, just take your guitar to audition and show it off. You`ll be hired without playing laugh.gif

But seriously, GZ smile.gif

Gratz man, I have one of those aswell and it's a great player! Good quality for the price. I love that there's only one pickup on it aswell. Hard to "cheat" when shredding without a neck pickup which is a positive thing in my mind.
Very hard to get a decent clean sound on this guitar tho =/
