GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Must Master Guitar Tracks

Posted by: PosterBoy Jan 20 2012, 12:00 PM

In the 80's we had

Steve Vai's - Eugene's Trick Bag from the film Crossroads

In the 90's we had

In the 2000's we had maybe?

Paul Gilbert - Technical Difficulties

In the 2010's ?

Maybe a Guthrie track?

What do you think?

Would you agree on my choices?

Yeah, I'd probably agree that Guthrie is this era's all round guitar extraordinaire smile.gif

From the 80's there was so much to choose from.. I'd agree with the Vai track for sure. Also, Eruption for much of the 80's, anything Vai did with Roth, anything by Yngwie.. cool.gif

I think for the 80's we would probably have to add Satch Boogie. And from the 90's maybe something from Greg Howes' Introspection album , maybe Jump Start or Button up?Which reminds me that I need to go back and finish TRYING to learn Jump Start rolleyes.gif
