I'm in the market for an electric-acoustic guitar. Price range for $300-$450 USD.

No brand preferences.

Take a look at Ovation. I have the CC24 which is on the lower end of your price range and seems to be a decent guitar.

I'm going to agree with Ovation, their cheaper guitars are still really good. Also Alvarez make some cheaper acoustics too, my friend has 2 of those and I like them a lot, I'm not sure if they make electric acoustics though. One more I can recommend that are really popular are the Ibanez electric acoustics. Good luck finding your guitar.

Also check out Takamine models, they are great bang for buck

I've also got an Ovation. It cost around £240 probably about 3 years ago. It's bloody brilliant. Sounds really nice and is nice and easy to play. I'd definitely recommend it. I've not put it down since the beginning of summer.

Taylor Big Baby is the best budget acoustic.

Edit: Uups sorry you look for an electro-acoustik. Get a Michael Kelley. Great budget electro-acoustics

I bought an acoustic Alverez about a year ago for 200$ and it sounds and plays beautifuly. One of the best acoustics for cheap in my opinion.. im sure their acoustic electrics play just as well.

At that price range you should try Takamine, Yamaha and Washburn.
