hey yeah its a hell of a guitar played for some hour now!! thanks ! can you tell me a good site where i can look for adjusting jems etc. i fell my strings are 2 high off the fretboard and i dont know how to fix it. also i want to put new strings on. and is it possible to oil the neck with lemoil? i have some left from my old guitar?! thanks and if you know a good site please tell me the manual of the guitar is (/%(=!/%!(/%?=!/(?= -.- I got a manual of guitar together with guitar and case, i'll post the link here if i see one. I am sure some GMC-ers have it ready and will share it because i don't have one in pdf or something. I never got a cookie and I have had a JEM since I joined a while back. That's pretty strange to have only 1 string creating buzz or touching the fretboard...did you try rising the bridge a bit? I mean, check if the bridge is on the optimal height. The strings can go low but not TOO low and not TOO close to the fretboard

One thing you might not have noticed: if your guitar is unplugged and you hear the buzz it doesn't mean it's bad. If you plug it in the amp and play and hear a clean tone from the amp than the buzz doesn't make the difference.
So as long as you hear a good clean tone from the amp the fret/string buzz is ok. I have some of that buzz my self but i guess i got used to it. In the end - the electric guitar is created to be played with amp and not unplugged so as i said before - no buzz out of the amp?
