I really like Sennheiser.

There are several models that they make. Some are quite spendy some arent.

Sony makes some good ones too.

Outlaw, I bought these shortly after joining GMC and needed to record stuff. I was on a budget at the time and I am very happy with them. They sound great and are very comfortable. My other friends who have tried them say the same.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

The problem with a headset is you have to do a rehearsal with them... recently I went to the store with my own player and tested quite many theoretically good headsets. And I can say that some 50$ ones sounded better than those 200$....
Generally you should check Sennheiser and AKG, but try to listen to them first!

Personally, after this test, for my home recording needs I bought way cheaper headset from Philips, which acts as good as some over 100$ ones.

Although I've found one Sennheiser set... mmmmm... its sound was something that no other tested by me headset had. It was excelltn, but costed something about 250$ wink.gif

I would get some AKG's or Sennheiser. I opted for AKG K 514 to play guitar late at night and I'm quite happy with the natural sound they provide. To listen to music on Ipod etc. I use sennheiser with a fatter bass.

Sony MDR -V6 they're no longer made but you can still find them online. I got a new pair off ebay for around $65.00. They sound wonderful.

Check around online for reviews on them. The reviews are off the charts.
