Thank you Pedja, very much appreciated!
What exactly do you mean with "how did you record"? Could you be more precise? Anyway, here's the link to the studio in which everything was recorded: http://www.zafretsound.com/studio_audio.htm Thank you once again Eddie |

You welcome Eddie!
So you went to actual studio and had everything mixed and mastered for you. I first taught you maybe did everything on your own the whole album! |

You welcome Eddie! So you went to actual studio and had everything mixed and mastered for you. Might be wrong Pedja but I think Eddie's site gives the mastering credit to Sterling Sound in NYC. Sterling is a very well known, big commercial USA mastering studio. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. Right, Tony!
Now I get it, Pedja. On the credits page you'll see who was involved in the recording... We recorded everything in a studio as a band, with an almost fixed set up. Then we did all the necessary overdubs. Didn't pay anything for the studio, since the owner produced the album. He mixed it too. The mastering was done by a guy called Will Quinnell at Sterling Sound, New York. They provide a service called "After Hour": for about 1.000 $ they'll master a 9 track album. Really worth it! You can check it on their web site! http://www.sterling-sound.com/ This post has been edited by eddiecat: Jul 19 2010, 05:12 PM |

Tnx for the info Eddie .
I'd always wondered what they were charging for the 'after hours' - for some reason Greg keeps on dodging that question when I speak to him . -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. Ehi Tony!
When you say Greg, do you mean Calbi?! Anyway, yes... We asked for a few estimates... I'd say an average of 100-125 $ per song. Eddie |
