So for all the fingerpicking gurus, check this :


He has his own method, available on his site, but it's about 100 euros He was rejected from the Conservatory (music university) because his technique was wrong.. I posted this song, because most of you know it, but he has much much more!

Hi Kaz

One of my favourite guitarists was dutch. A guy called Jan Ackerman who played in a group called Focus. You are muct too young to have heard of them.

Their singer was called THjis van Leer (I think( and was rather strange!!

Wow, that's pretty damn cool.

Also, shame that guy Kaznie was rejected for conservatory. Simply because his technique is wrong? If it works, and possibly works better, what's 'wrong' with it? Technique should be allowed to evolve like everything.

Also, there's this Dutch guy called Eddie van Halen, he's supposedly pretty good, too.

Nice post! But nothing beats this guy playing acoustic, at least in my opinion. Saw a show on Swedish television some time ago, stunning!



... and he's not that bad on electric either.... At least it makes me begin thinking of giving it up....

I know someone who has that method... she says it's just as boring as all books, and very hard! the show I'm going to is called the Sacksioni Method, but it's a bit chepaer then the book
