Let´s see what songs r you guys tackling or have just tackled ..
I will start :
- Jimi Hendrix - little Wing
Jack Thammarat--"On the way"
Just wrapping up Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the moon
John Mayers - Burning slow song (i think thats what its called)
and Dream theaters finally free. Both songs i am learning to impress a girl who impressed me
I am still completely unable to fully learn a song, as my signature say.
I'm working on a cople tracks by Sum 41 lately
I'm still trying to learn my own songs ........ besides some jazz-solos by Brecker....
//Staffay
Hells Bells by ACDC because GuitarPort has a Hells Bells preset which obviously meant I had to learn it.
Playing some easy covers with friends. At the moment we're practicing Muse - Bliss, next up is Spinal Tap - Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight
Pantera - Floods
I've wanted to learn this for so long, now is the time.
Still trying to get the leads down for Sultans of Swing and am also working on Into the Night by Santana.
I'd put up the video for the first song but its kinda graphic. But anyway, been listening to a lot of behemoth lately and these are two songs I've always loved. I got most of Conquer All down, and Ov Fire And The Void is going pretty good.
I also want to start learning Nile's "Papyrus containing the spell to preserve its possessor against attacks from he who is in the water"
Learning but not very committed -
Arch Enemy - Nemesis
Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
Lamb of God - 11th Hour
In the pipeline -
Your Inner Intention - My Vengeance (www.myspace.com/yourinnerintention)
I want to learn Gone by Andy Timmons and a few others but Im only doing exercises at the moment.
Me too!
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing.
Wallimans lesson is great. I think in the next few months, I'm going to try to learn a few "essential" tunes. ... in addition to lot's of exercises.
If I can learn my own songs, I will be the happiest man in the world. Hahahaha
I have been ia punk rock mood so i have learned
Blink 182-All the small things
Green Day- AMerian diot
Nirvana smlls like a teen spirit
Canon and its driving me nuts! is santiago human????????????????????????????????????
Slow dancing in a burning Room - John Mayer , with lyrics. The song is pretty easy , whats been takeing time is singing along and playing, buy i'm almost there.
are we suppose to learn songs?
i'm still stuck on alt. picking
Learning to play my own while writing them^^
Drifting with Andy McKee, Im almost there and ready to record
Hey, maybe you all know it allready, but I just found this little webpage with a lot of backing tracks.
Some are better than others

I think I'll try and learn Ozzys Crazy train after I get the solo from Pantera - Floods finished
I've been jamming around to the song from the Grease - You're the one I want
vai - tender surrender.
The solo is impossibly hard, got to the bit where he does those ascending half-sweep things up to a bend on the 22nd fret. Just can't move my fingers that fast on those tiny little frets :/
Been learning Let There Be Rock and Whole Lotta Rosie again
I learned recently two Ennio Moricone pieces, "Farewell to Cheyene" and "La marginal"
Here are the lessons I'm currently focusing on:

There are others as well - even from different instructors - but mainly these 5 right now.
New update!, working ona couple Pixies covers lately (Debaser & Gouge Away) almost complete, plus slowly learning the riffing of maiden's Aces High
It's taking me more time to actually practice all songs I know so that I don't forget them than learning new techniques/tunes
Memory is weak!
I am currently working on a few Swedish Melodic Deathmetal songs to incorporate this style more into my own playing...
In Flames, At The Gates and Dark Tranquility mainly!
