I was watching this the other day,

he's such an honest guy, and authentic

He's one my favorite guitarists nowadays because of his album "Erotic cakes" and several videos on youtube I've seen....he plays perfectly in all of them!

I saw this awhile back and its pure genius. No wonder so many people consider him to be one of the best in the world right now. He's the real deal.

Yes, great answer indeed.
I would recommend to take a look at the other parts of the interview, there's some interesting things as well!

He's wright, avoiding cliches leads you nowhere, you have to be spontaneous!

That was such a wise response, modest and correct. It's not a goal or to play cliches or not to be aware of them. Just have to find a good balance. "Just" smile.gif

I just watched an hour and a half webcast with him in the same set and it was absolute brilliance. Being able to listen to him for that long is just a treat. He truly is a musical genius.

Is the webcast available for others to see? I'd be interested in watching it.
Thanks,
Christian A.

Very insightful video. He is spot on - so you have to find the middle ground because if you artificially try to be "original" and far away from cliche maybe no one will want to listen to it smile.gif
