agree, typically I will give a listen, but I refused, very immature, rejected by automatic rejection mechanism.

I figure the odds that I will, on my death bed, say as my last words "gee, i wished I had listened" are slim.

edit: when I said immature, referring to band, just to make that clear.

Yeah. It just strikes a tough chord for me. I lost my nephew at 7 months old this year. So no...I don't find their name "cool".

I dont like the band name either but I like the song its not all like hard screaming metal its sorta to me along the linds of the band clutch but a little more heavier. To me I just forgot about the name to listen to the song.

Yeah, just reading the Name of the Topic, puts a bad taste in my mouth, and It probably doesn't belong in the Gear forum.

I'm sure they're pretty good tho...

I do agree however...they sounded good. I also enjoy singing way more than screaming or growling.

I was also thinking of the 30,000 or so who die every day in poverty in parts of the world. but your point is well taken, you have such tragedies everywhere, and very hard to take for families when it does happen.

Read:

QUOTE (wikipedia)
A Forum Moderator, often shortened to just mod, is a person granted special powers to enforce the rules of an Internet forum (message board) or electronic mailing list. Almost all moderators on all forums can move discussions to different sections of the forum, close discussions, edit the content of individual postings, answer questions (or help people with problems), and 'stick' discussions so they remain visible in their forum section even if no new postings are made to them. Different forums may give their moderators further powers, such as being able to block/ban people from the message board who are trolling or breaking the Code of Conduct.

band names are band names, its just like song titles, i really don't care so long as the band is good, when you dive into the areas of death metal you find many strange named bands, to make a list:

Dying Fetus
Cannible Corpse
Putrid Pile
Braindrill
... if i had the energy the list could go on and on
the point i am trying to make is that no matter how immature the members of the band may be in regards to their band name i do not think this is a right to ignore their musical capabilities

what the hell is a porcupine tree?

yet they have some of the most stunningly beautiful music i have ever heard.

As for this band, they are alright, when i saw the comparison to clutch i got skeptical because i don't care for clutch, but this was a bit heavier which suited my tastes. The singing is okay but again not really my cup of tea. Thanks for the link smile.gif
