Very obvious title.. which songs or pieces of music make you think 'I wish I wrote that' ?

I just love the opening chords of this piece by Mozart. I had to really hunt for the right piece. Somebody once posted a great video on GMC with different cartoon facial expressions with this music in the background and I've loved it ever since !

Another classic of dramatic intensity

How about you ?

You can really feel every emotion in her voice, can't you ? You can imagine being in her situation and feeling those emotions.

It sounds very much like an acoustic bass as well smile.gif

Warning: These albums literally sounds like something someone would record if they were collapsing into insanity. For this, I feel their beauty is unrivaled. Enjoy!

Everything by this group. I constantly rave about Opeth being my favourite, but this is most certainly untrue. Opeth is my favourite metal band. This group.... Words cannot express the beauty and intelligence behind each album. I have everything they have recorded on vinyl(it cost me a lot of money) and if my house were on fire, I would probably save the records from this band before I would even think about getting my instruments.

The group name is Devil Doll(Not to be confused with the Rockabilly band). There is only one song on every album with the exception of Heliogabalus.

Sacrilegium(I love this album the most. "The Girl Who Was... Death" is a close second):

The Girl Who Was... Death(This album was a concept designed on a British show from the 60's called "The Prisoner):

Sidenote: My Signature is actually a quote from the Composer/Songwriter of this band. It was the advert he placed in his local papers when he was searching for band members to record the very first album for Devil Doll.

Also, every other full album is in the related videos. If anyone else can handle this.

It is worth it! The original pressing of "The Girl Who Was... Death" cost me $500 USD! It is not easy to come by whatsoever(it is even locked away in my gun safe). 500 copies were made, and only 150 were given out. Mr. doctor burned the remaining copies. He inscribed each album personally, some of them using his own blood! Talk about strange. I am trying to find a Pre-release Casette(some were made and given away before the album was release); but alas, this search is in vain.

It happens to be the pride and joy of my... everything I own.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Who_Was..._Death

I personally think that Mr. Doctor has the most expressive voice in history. He can hit gravelly lows and soul penetrating highs with ease.
