Does anybody know the Alan Wake games ??

There's a fictional band called Old Gods of Asgard, made up of two old guys who are into Norse Mythology. The music was recorded by Poets of the Fall...

I was watching a walkthrough of Alan Wake's American Nightmare the other day and noticed some wicked guitar playing in the background so of course I had to check it out... some seriously cool solos !! cool.gif

Oh yeah now you're talking ! Remedy's good ol' games Max Payne and Alan Wake. I finished Wake last summer. Really epic game and good story.

Those 2 geezer (Anderson brothers) were really crazy (actually both of them were in the sanitarium). In the game you were in their farm on their perform stage and fought against those "Taken" baddies while their (brothers) Rock N' Roll show backing track was on !!

I haven't played that American Nightmare yet. Need to check that out !!

Off topic:

Also did you know that Max Payne's story writer was the face model of main character ?

Also Alan Wake' face model was finnish actor Ilkka Villi ?

I didn't know this band! They sound killer! The track audio is incredible, and also the guitar solos are very enjoyable... the voice gives it a sound more connected to HIM than other metal bands.

This was a REALLY fine game. It was one of the first ones I played that honestly dunked you under the story and had you dig your way out. Very much like being in the movie.

Walkthroughs are sometimes better! smile.gif Quicker, no console needed, no wandering about looking for the hidden level locks, just as entertaining in many cases and then it doesn't take 40 hours out of your life not to mention you can practice while watching!
