I've noticed ever since I got my PRS that the neck of the guitar has a sticky feel too it. All of the other guitars that I've ever owned have never had a gloss finish on the back so I've never run into this problem.

Yes - that technique does a great job. You will have to re-sand it ever-so-often, cause it seems to make it's way back to how it felt originally.

well i've seen a big mean hairy shredder use talcpowder on the palm of his neckhand...it seemed to do the trick
