Hey Muris, I've always admired how fast you can shred on your axe, and i tend to stick to your lessons only because, well, your amazing

I was wondering if you could help me out with a question.

Im just starting to play faster than average, ive been playing for almost 2 years, very seriously, with about 2 - 6 hours of playing a day. so, i consider myself a very good guitarist, but i've always wanted to shred, to incorperate it in original songs, and also to play along with some of the greats.

When i play, i use a metronome and gradually build up speed when i have a riff down for GOOD.
But i fear that maybe im taking things to fast. mind you that when i use a metronome i play the riff for a good 15 - 20 mins straight. i have read articles that playing the riff to fast at first and doing it very often tences up your arms and creates bad habits.


What are some good things to practice, to build up speed, and acuaracy?

Do you have any tips for playing fast?
