Great! What Pentatonic Scale have you worked? What backing tracks and licks have you been using?

I worked on Minor Pentatonic (different keys and positions) over a single chord (looper). I did not use "real" backing tracks yet. Also played diatonic triads over a single chord.
I was using licks from GMC lessons (e.g some of your Frusciante, some from D Wallimann's sequences) and some from G Hilden ( the guitar player I shows your videos from) and recorded a few to build a small repertoire to start and modify from.

Maybe its time to choose a slow simply backing track with easy chord progression and try to apply the above? ( triads, pentatonic, licks) ??? Or is that too early?

Hi Gab, its been some time since my last post. Sorry, but life got in the way. Sad things happened to my family. So here I am back again. The bad news: I did not work on the improvisation since then, the good news I played most days for some minutes although it was more like meditation then focused practice.
Nevertheless I played a lot rhythm and explored some new stuff and here are two new rhythm videos. Others will follow.

You will see I changed my guitar again biggrin.gif I did never expect to end with a Les Paul but this guitar really got me immediately. She is a keeper for sure and will be my no1. Hope all the buying trying and selling has come to an end now. Sure sooner or later I will add a single coil guitar too - but I will take all the time needed until I found one at a store that really wants me.

All the best Tom!

Hi Tom! Congrats on that beautiful guitar! It looks and sounds great. Also, I think that you look comfortable with it in your hands.

Your rhythm playing is getting better and better. There is some little room to go tighter, but the good news are that you look relaxed and enjoying the groove, so you just need some more days and a little more focus into going tight with rhythm.

I'm sorry about the bad things happening to your family mate, all the best wishes to you.
