First time I heard this song was just amazing so I decided to ruin it with my guitar playing biggrin.gif

Im not feeling my lead tone in this, its a bit too 'ringy', but with all the strings and stuff, combined with my bad mixing skills, I just left it in.

Heres a link to the original anyway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XstrpkqT6dw

That is epic! biggrin.gif I haven't heard the original before but I like it very much!

Your rendition is very good and I love the editing - especially the two screens! I have yet to learn how to do that. Which software did you use?

I agree that the lead tone is a bit 'ringy' too, and you could perhaps add some vibrato to the slower notes because they will sound even better! And maybe you can try raising the volume of the backing track so the guitar doesn't stand out too much and it your cover will explode of epicness! wink.gif

Also I like the solo, especially ending and the tapping part, looking forward to more stuff from you, mate wink.gif

ha! thanks for watching man, appreciate it.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro, but any video editing software should be capable. The reason why my tone is so 'ringy' is cause I neck pickup'd it so the lead didn't clash with the staccato string part as much. But its all a good learning experience.
