When i go to the GMC chat page i get a warning bar on top of my browser (latest version internet explorer) saying some software must be downloaded, then i click that and tell it to allow it.
Then a popup comes (i for some reason cant screenshot this one) it says its an uncertified download,
and asks if i really want to install it. It mentions"http://www.addonchat.com/404.html" in the details.
Then comes another error popup that looks like this:
Attached Image
Then i click ok, it disapears and nothing happens, i just see the camvideo, with empty space around it. the live camview actually does show, but not anything of the chat that should be beside it (or under it?)

Ive tryed alot of things to get this to install, set my internetoptions security to low and even completely turned off, it just keeps giving the same errors and never installs the needed thing.

I really hope someone here knows what this is and how to fix it, ive been googling for months about this but never found a solution.

I've been using V-picks since they first got posted about here on gmc smile.gif
I don't use any other picks and i nearly always use my v-pick Dimension.
Its huge with 1 sharp point and 2 round ones, it costs alot i think for 1 pick but ive been using this same one for like a year so it's not really that expensive..

I really love the whole album, hard to choose.. but i voted 'By the Sword'

And the list is missing Baby Can't Drive, with Alice Cooper and Nicole Scherzinger (thats only on the special edition though )
and also "Back From Cali" with Myles Kennedy

Well my gear is kinda awesome and i dont sound great so for me it true ;P

Also Steve Vai told a story about this too in his masterclass.
Eddie van Halen came to Steves home, walked into his studio, picked up his guitar, plugged it into his amp, with his settings..
but he didnt sound anything like Vai.. he still totaly sounded like Eddie van Halen tongue.gif

I love that smilie Slash always uses btw Iii|; )

I bought the logitech quickcampro9000 webcam some months ago.
I've seen some really nice high quality videos made with this same cam by some gmc members.

Problem is i never got mine look very good, and now i hadn't used it for some months and there is a new software that seems to have really alot less options, and it looks worse, and also seems far from 30fps that the cam should be able to take.

I know alot of gmcers use this cam so i hope anyone has some advice how to make nice videos with it.
Maybe with another program or some special setings?

The prices listed on the official Gibson site are usually about double of what store prices are, i dont know why.. but dont look at the Gibson site if you want to know what they cost tongue.gif
Lp Studio usually goes for about 1000 euros over here

Cant wait for the results, and hopefully a tutorial!

I think my Rg350 is starting to try hiding itself now, after ive been thinking of using that tutorial if you make it laugh.gif

I wonder if this story about Steve's blood in Jem DNAs is true btw ohmy.gif
"To get the DNA Steve Vai himself donated a couple pints of blood to be swirled and Darren mixed it liberally. (The blood actually had to be smuggled into Japan because of importation laws:)"

Way too old topic... but have to say i love Vista compared to xp

Sure things are in different places but thats no problem if you take some time to get used to it, i now like how things are located..
64bit incompatebility when vista was new wasnt vistas fault but that of driver makers + you didnt have to get the 64bits vista either.

only thing wrong with vista is how much power of your computer it takes, i heared windows 7 is much better on that, id love to try it sometime smile.gif

An example why i love vista far more then xp is about its stability (wich it does have! dont know why people complain about that)
in xp, games would crash so bad that only thing to do was using the hard power-off button, wich offcourse isnt very nice for your pc.
in Vista (IF games crash, wich seems to be far more rare to me) ctrl-alt-delete Always works so you can do a friendly game-close or restart.

I dont have any nice quotes like others unsure.gif
But i do know i got lots of awesome advice from:
-Steve Vai in his masterclass (if you can ever go, its great, for newbies like me but also for good guitarists)
-Lots of people on GMC

edit: and Sollesnes quote gets a me a lil worried about my lovely Jem and what i can play on it ... tongue.gif

I got a 16C one.. sortof free

I made an order of 90 euros at a site.. but there was 10euro shipping fee, when you order there for 100+ there is no shipping..
So i ordered the 10euro harmonica with it and total cost was 100euros... just like total price was without it! ;D

Would like to learn some easy stuff with it aswell smile.gif

Thanks i ordered it just for the fun tongue.gif (well and the previews do sound nice, a bit like Vai)
First thought its expensive but the 20dollars ended up being only about 13 euros!

didnt find anywhere that the prices are limited to some countrys.. like usual.. so maybe this time its possible for me to win! tongue.gif

I think its on purpose, and a good thing.
You normally dont need to edit it, and if everyone could edit titles things can get very confusing.
Can always contact an admin for help on changing it.

Not sure whats wrong with your posts title but..
You cant put capitol letters in the topic, it auto-caps.. i noticed this when putting :D in topictitles... it makes them go :d lol

There seems to be a very intresting/weird thing going on in the forums lately,
where the last word on a line gets repeated on the next line.
Im sure its not mistakes of the writers, because its a rare mistake to make, but i see in many many peoples posts.

just a few examples here in a screenshot:

Attached Image

edit: in the 3rd example it does say personal, i just cut off the screenshot a bit too small
