I'm no pro when it comes to composing, but that was an awesome song, Pål ! I have nothing negative to say other than the almost pure use of minor pentatonic. I could be wrong, but a metal song must have Aeolian and/or Phrygian Dominant as well !
Those are just details, and as I said, I may be wrong, so you can just ignore it if you want...
AWESOME song, both lead and rhythm !

Thanks mate
Well, since it's not a song I didn't really think about scales.
It was just a short clip to show the sound
But I'll keep that in mind when I write a complete song out of this riff
Thanks again!

There are no metal guitars just guitars beter suited for metal than others so why shouldn't a handmade Nik Huber guitar be bad for metal?
It sounds awesome!

I agree
It's just that it's got some "vintage" handwound pickups installed,
which shouldn't be well suited for metal (at least not compared to my Bareknuckle Pickups in my Gibson)..
But I was wrong... again...
Thanks a lot, I'm glad you like it

Vintage just means your amp needs to have enough gain on it's own to get a distorted tone...
I was more suprised about how thick the tone of you Redwood is,considering it has a hollow body! Did you double tracked the recording to make it sound fatter or is it just one layer?
Oh and just out of interest, which Bareknuckle pickups do you have in what kind of Gibson?

My Gibson is depressed right now, poor thing
Buy it a bus ticket and send it over I'll make it feel loved and welcome
Great clip, you're right,it does metal.

Ah.. I didn't know that
Thanks!
It's two tracka panned 45% left and right
But either way, it sounds just as fat as any solidbody guitar I've ever tried to be honest..
I've got Nailbombs in a 1991 Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite (Limited Edition version),
great guitar!
